Driving Directions to Lehigh University Asa Packer (South Bethlehem) Campus

From Route 22:

  1. Exit at Rt. 378 going south.
  2. After the "Downtown Bethlehem" exit, get in the left lane and continue across the bridge over the Lehigh River.
  3. Bear left at the traffic light.
  4. At the bottom of the hill (you will be facing the Comfort Suites), turn right at the light onto Brodhead Avenue.
  5. Pass through one traffic light, crossing 4th Street, and continue south on Brodhead. The campus is on your left. Please refer to the following link for further detail http://www.lehigh.edu/campusmap/

From Interstate 78:

  1. Exit I-78 at Hellertown.
  2. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Rt. 412 (Hellertown Road).
  3. Continue north on Rt. 412 out of Hellertown as it curves to the left. Follow signs for Rt. 412 (now called 3rd Street) into South Bethlehem.
  4. At the traffic light at Webster Street turn left and continue to Packer Avenue. You are now on the Lehigh campus. Please refer to the following link for further detail http://www.lehigh.edu/campusmap/

From the south via PA Turnpike and Route 309:

  1. Exit from the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Rt. 663.
  2. Turn left onto Rt. 663 and continue to the Rt. 309 traffic light.
  3. Turn left onto Rt. 309 and continue north. Watch for signs to Rt. 378.
  4. Turn right on Rt. 378 and continue north through several stoplights and over South Mountain.
  5. As you are going downhill, pass through the first flashing light.
  6. Turn right at the second flashing light onto Summit Street and continue a few blocks until you reach the campus. Please refer to the following link for further detail http://www.lehigh.edu/campusmap/

Visitor parking is available at any metered space, or in the Zoellner parking garage on Packer Avenue and Filmore Street.

To Lehigh University Mountaintop Campus (Iacocca Hall)

From Route 22:

  1. Exit Rt. 22 at Rt. 378 South.
  2. Continue south on Rt. 378 across the bridge over the river, staying in the right lane.
  3. Continue uphill on Rt. 378 (now called Wyandotte Street) through two traffic lights and two flashing lights.
  4. Get in the right lane, and at the top of the hill, turn right on the Puggy Lane ramp.
  5. Turn left onto Puggy Lane and proceed through traffic light onto North Mountain Drive.
  6. Bear right at the first fork, following signs to Iacocca/Mountaintop Campus.
  7. Bear left at the second fork onto Research Drive.
  8. Pass through the entry gate and bear right at the fork. Iacocca Hall is directly ahead.

From Interstate 78:

  1. Exit I-78 at Hellertown.
  2. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Rt. 412 (Hellertown Road).
  3. Continue south on Rt. 412 and turn right at the Water Street traffic light.
  4. Follow Water Street until it joins Friedensville Road. Continue straight onto Friedensville Road.
  5. At the traffic light, turn right onto South Mountain Drive.
  6. Continue up the mountain and bear right at the fork.
  7. Continue through the entry gate and bear right at the second fork. Iacocca Hall is directly ahead.

From the south via PA Turnpike and Route 309:

  1. Exit from the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Rt. 663 Quakertown.
  2. Turn left on Rt. 663 to the Rt. 309 traffic light.
  3. Turn left onto Rt. 309 and continue north to Rt. 378.
  4. Turn right at the Rt. 378 stop light and continue north, passing several traffic lights to the top of South Mountain.
  5. Turn right at the traffic light at the top of South Mountain onto Mountain Drive.
  6. Bear right at the first fork, following signs to Iacocca/Mountaintop Campus.
  7. Bear left at the second fork onto Research Drive.
  8. Pass through the entry gate and bear right at the fork. Iacocca Hall is directly ahead.

For events hosted at Iacocca Hall, please instruct your guests to park in the student/visitor lots that are located through the courtyard area by the trees overlooking Stabler Arena (see map here).
