In an effort to ensure that Lehigh’s residential facilities are safe and secure during your stay at Lehigh, University staff conduct room inspections each semester. An Assistant Director for Residence Life will be conducting the inspections with the help of the Gryphon staff.
In preparation for the inspections, please review the General Provisions for Student Occupancy regarding safety and security. You can also reference the Room Inspection Quick Guide.
During room inspections, if a violation is found, you may receive a lease violation and you will be required to correct all violations within 24 hours of the initial inspection. A follow-up inspection will occur if the violation cannot be corrected during the initial inspection.
