During the summer months, the Office of Conference and Special Housing Services in conjunction with Housing Services employs approximately twenty students in a variety of positions. During the summer of 2020, Warren Square C will be used as the location for the summer conference main desk operation. The desk is staffed seven days a week. During the course of the summer, the university hosts over 50 camps and conferences and several thousand conference guests. Additionally our summer staff assist with renovations, furniture moves and daily tasks associated with the Residence Halls. We are most interested in students who have leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to interact well with others, as well as a strong commitment to customer service. General requirements for the above positions are as follows:
- Available to work from May through August
- Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Attend the staff training and all staff meetings
- Participate in a rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule, which is covered by the two supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising staff
