4PP Frequently Asked Questions

I'm still waiting for information on my financial aid package. What should I do?

If you delay applying for the Four Payment Plan awaiting additional information, it may cause registration problems. It is best to complete the application on a timely basis with as much accurate information from correspondences and the web-sites noted in the instructions. Upperclassmen may wish to estimate some numbers based on prior year. (If your estimates differ significantly from your actual amounts, special consideration may be available to spread the difference over the remaining payments providing all necessary financial aid paperwork was completed by student and parents on a timely basis.)

What happens if I over-estimated my plan amount?

If your original Plan Amount was over-estimated, the "Total Due" amount on the following bill will be your monthly installment less the amount over-estimated.

Why is my "Total Due" different from my monthly installment?

The "Total Due" amount on your bill may be different for a variety of reasons. Any financial aid that is still pending will not reduce your "Total Due" amount. If you incurred any new charges, your "Total Due" will be your monthly installment plus the amount of new charges. Your "Total Due" will also be affected if your original Plan Amount was underestimated OR overestimated.
