Student Health Insurance Plans for Summer
Summer enrollment is available to new Graduate Students who are starting their degree program during the Summer Semester.
Summer policies are being offered as a special enrollment period under the 2025-2026 annual plan offered through University Health Plans. Benefit information is available on UHP's Website.
Summer Enrollment is available to:
- F1 and J1 Graduate students registered for at least one credit hour
- Graduate students who are Full-time or Certified full-time
Note that Summer enrollment options are for NEW Graduate students only. Continuing students are not eligible for these special plan offerings.

To enroll in a Summer Plan,
1) Register for your courses. You must meet the eligibility requirements prior to enrolling in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
2) Email the Bursar's office to request enrollment in the Summer 1 or Summer 2 plan. Your request must be sent from your Lehigh email address. Once requested, monitor your email closely for instructions on making your payment and completing the insurance enrollment form.
