Temporary Student Housing

Temporary Housing is available for students who need on-campus housing beyond the academic year closing of residential buildings on May 16, 2024. To be guaranteed Temporary Housing, your request must be made by May 3, 2024. If you register for temporary housing immediately following closing, most students will be able to stay in their current housing assignment until May 19th and should plan to move on May 19th into Temporary Housing in Singleton and Hitch Houses. If you are in a building where we are not able to allow you to stay (House 087), you WILL be required to move on or prior to May 16th. You need to plan accordingly. You must be available to move on the date required or we will not be able to offer you temporary housing. The daily housing rate applies beginning May 16th no matter if you remain in your Spring assignment or move into Singleton and Hitch Houses. Temporary Housing is available from Closing Day (May 16th) through 8:00pm on Friday, June 7, 2024. You will be charged the daily rate from your first date of check in through your last date of check out. https://auxiliaryservices.lehigh.edu/https%3A/auxiliaryservices.lehigh.edu/check-out-closing-information/temporary-housing Temporary housing is not for students signing up for summer housing. If you are signing up for summer housing and need a place to stay between May 16 and 19, please indicate your need when filling out your summer housing contract. Temporary housing is not for seniors. Graduating seniors who want housing between May 16 and 19, please sign up for senior housing. All seniors who are on the graduation list will receive an email mid April. Spring 2024 Housing Moveout Information

With the Spring 2024 Semester coming to an end, Lehigh University housing will be closing doors May 16 @ 9 AM. There is a 3 Step Process for students to follow to make sure they leave campus for the summer in the easiest & most proficient way possible. Donate Your Unneeded Items or Volunteer! Dear Members of the Lehigh Community, As students prepare to move out, please remember that donating any unneeded items that you don’t want to take home with you is preferable to throwing them away. Lehigh Move Out is collecting items in Residence Hall lounges and at the HST Building daily between May 8 and 26. Items will be sold at The Great South Side Sale on Saturday, June 1, 2024. If anyone needs off-campus pick up, please email inmove@lehigh.edu. The funds raised from the sale benefit children and youth programs in South Bethlehem. You can find more information about the annual collection, including how to donate your items, on the Student Affairs website. We accept: Unopened food Non-upholstered furniture (such as tables, chairs, desks, dressers) Clothing Linens (such as sheets, towels, curtains, blankets, tablecloths) Household goods (such as kitchen items, knickknacks, storage, and mirrors) Office/School Supplies Small appliances and electronics (such as mini-fridges, fans, lamps, etc.) Books Rugs Toys, Games, Sporting goods We do NOT accept large appliances, sofas, mattresses, boxsprings (we will take bed frames), or computer monitors. Please donate! You can leave items in designated locations within Residence Halls and/or deliver them to us in front of HST (under a bright blue tent!). Senior Student Housing

Eligible students have been emailed. If you did not receive an email but feel that you should have, please contact our office. Senior Housing is available from Closing Day (May 16th) through 9:00pm Sunday, May 19, 2024. There is no housing charge. https://auxiliaryservices.lehigh.edu/senior-housing Seniors who register by the deadline will be able to stay in their current assignment except those currently living in House 087. If you need to remain on campus after May 19, you need to sign up for Temporary or Summer Housing and you will need to move ON May 19 th.
