Report Hitch House Vending Problem Here
Singleton, Hitch & Maida Houses is a three building residence hall complex for second year and upper class students. Singleton House is named after Charlot and Dennis Singleton ’66. Hitch House is named after Julie ’20P ’21P and Jordan Hitch ’88 ’20P ’21P. Maida House is named after Sharon and James Maida ’85 ’17P ’19P.
This residence hall complex is all gendered and houses 405 students in air-conditioned suites. Each suite features a combination of single and double bedrooms (majority are double bedrooms), as well as a private bathroom. The movable bedroom furniture includes a bed, desk, desk chair chest of drawers and closet space.
The neighborhood design boosts community space activated by the programs it will support. The spine of the housing neighborhood creates a common circulation route open to the entire campus and provides access to key program spaces. Phase I will include a fitness center, a dance studio, a coffee house, and multiple meeting/study/TV lounge spaces including a large meeting space in Maida House.
