Cancellation Prior to Housing Selection

In theme communities, because group placement is finalized based on the number of housing contracts signed, the contract becomes binding when it is signed. The Housing and Meal Plan Contract is binding for the full academic year consisting of Fall and Spring semesters. If the student is enrolled at Lehigh as a student, they will be held to the contract.  Students will not be financially released from this contract.

In the lottery, the contract becomes final when housing is selected or when the university places the students into housing after a contract is signed.

If you wish to cancel your Housing Contract before selecting a residence hall space or before the university places you into housing, contact Housing Services with your request by emailing inhouse@lehigh.edu.
