College students whether living on or off campus should have student personal property insurance. In the event of a natural disaster, theft, vandalism or fire, the tenants personal belongings may be insured for their value. Be sure to get your property insured—there are many options available with different companies.
National Student Services, Inc (www.nssi.com) is one company which offers low cost insurance. The university is making this information available and has no involvement with this company. Students are able to choose any insurance they would like.
Lehigh University does not carry insurance on students’ property and recommend that you purchase a policy for your time at Lehigh.
