Residents who are locked out of their room should follow these procedures:
1. Find roommate, the House Manager, or President.
2. Between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, go to the IDEAL Office. Upon presenting your ID, you will be given a temporary key.
If no one is available, call LUPD (ext. 84200). They will call in a locksmith, and the resident will be responsible for paying the cost of the emergency call out.
The student will not receive a charge for the first lockout. Continued lockouts throughout the academic year will result in the following charges: 2nd lockout=$30 service fee; 3rd and each additional lockout=$65 service fee and a referral to the conduct process.
