Travelers will now need a state-issued REAL ID compliant license or identification card, or another acceptable form of ID—such as a passport—to fly within the United States. Please visit the Homeland Security website for additional information regarding REAL ID.

11/7/2025:  Starting this Friday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will begin reducing flight capacity by up to 10% at 40 of the busiest U.S. airports. This step is being taken in response to staffing and operational pressures during the federal shutdown.
 

11/4/2025:  The U.S. federal government shutdown persists with continued potential to disrupt travel through TSA and air traffic control staffing issues. Flight Aware reports 10,000+ flight delays across the US over the Halloween weekend affecting major hubs including Chicago, New York, and Atlanta. In addition, weather impact could amplify as we move into colder winter travel months in the northern hemisphere.
